Uneventful Mondays are...

what I love.  However, I would like to state for the record that uneventful MonDAYs accompanied by uneventful Monday evenings are what I love even more.

It really was good day today at work.  It was busy.  That is great for business and for helping my day fly by.  I did a TON of work today.  Nancy not been able to come in her usual Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the office has been hard.  Without her it really is impossible to get it all done alone.  Plus, I miss seeing her.  It felt like I arrived to work and when I didn't have a moment to breath until the 2 o'clock patients were walking in the door.  In our office when you see that grouping of patients you know that you are home free.  Most of my day at work was dedicated to collections.  Yes, collections.  Something that I like to do as well as dread.  Some people just pay their bills the way that you are supposed to, but then the other just want to jump down your throat because they refuse to pay the bill for the crown that they have been eating on for two months.  I mean give me a break!  You cannot tell me that you go to the store pick up some bread and milk (soy milk for those of you like me), go to the register and tell them that you will send your payment sometime about 3 months from now!  Yeah, right.  Maybe 20 years ago.  Pay your bills people!

Okay, now that I am off my soap box I will move one.  Around 3:45 p.m. I scooted out of work to head to the camera store.  The store that I like is close to the office, but its location is a mess during 5 o'clock traffic.  I knew that I had to haul some major tail to get there, get my questions answered and get on the road before the 5 o'clock madness began.

At the camera shop had the chance to narrow down exactly what I was going to get.  I am going to order this sweet little guy from Circuit City this week.  Lucky for me David gets a discount there as a perk that has come with his new job.  I also had a chance to find the bag that I want to get as well as some of the lenses that I am going to research before I purchase.  The guy who worked at this place was just a gem considering I told him that I was not buying anything today.  You can't seem to find that anymore.

For dinner David and I met at our favorite pizza place, Minsky's, for dinner.  It was of course yummy to my ever expanding tummy... from eating too much pizza.  That is totally something that we need to cut back on around here.  After dinner home we went.  We watered the flowers and played with the dogs.  (For any of you who know David and I know that we just have one dog, but this past while we have been keeping my Nenee's pup, Holli.) Then, we just settled in for the night.

As most of you also know for some time I have seemed to live my evenings one on this computer.  SO much so that I have named him, Mr. Mac.  Mr. Mac and I were very close until tonight.  Last week we had a spat, that I thought that I had forgiven him for; However, when and I had to reformat my external hard drive with about 150 GB of stuff on it... I was not happy... now it has gotten worse!  I was saving some files to a JPEG format when I could not get open 1, 2, no it doesn't stop there, 5... FIVE... layouts would not open!  This to anyone who scraps is MAJOR.  We spend HOURS doing some of these and when something like this happens it is cause for  a meltdown. David seeing that I was about to KILL my computer hooked up my hard drive to our MAC laptop and did something very magical I am sure and was able to get one changed over.  This would have been wonderful had Mr. Mac been able to locate the drive when we plugged it back in.  Now, I am TICKED as ever because I cannot access my stuff.  I am not sure who I will call first to fix this Apple or Western Digital.  Thank goodness for them I will have had time to calm down by then.

Now, that I have almost fully completed my melt down I am going to order one of these from my new favorite site and shop for camera lenses.  Exciting I know.  We will see what tomorrow brings  Mom and I are going to be going to a make your own stationary class in the evening.  I am kinda excited for that.  Since I have started digiscraping I have not touched and of my paper scrapping stuff.

I hope you all had a good start to your week!  Remember to enjoy Spring!
