Work was uneventful. That is good. Today at the office we had an intern start. She is so cute. She is going to be graduating from one of the career colleges in town and had to do an internship. You could totally tell that she was nervous, but she really started to get the hang of it by the end of the day. I think that she has to compete 160 hours, so she will be with us for a bit. At the office we had some big cases today. I had a great time helping "Dr. Gardner" on them. We had a previous patient from the stop by today.
Maureen is from Ireland and is in the states for just a short visit. She and her son were patients of the office from 1999 till recently when they went back to Ireland to live. Maureen just popped in to say hi to everyone, especially Dr. Gardner. It was so sweet so see how much patients appreciate the services my Mom offers. I can tell you that I knew that my Mom was a wonderful person, Mom and caretaker, but seeing her in her element at work is amazing. She is so smart, great at what she does, but most importantly she cares about the people that she treats. I think to many of them she is a friend. Patients never fail to bring her cute homemade trinkets, crafts and pictures when they have their appointments. It makes my heart so full to see that what I love in her others do too. Okay... I am getting teary eyed now. I am reminded everyday of how amazing she is, but around Mother's Day I am always remembering how lucky I am to have her.
M. Russell Ballard, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, said in the March 2006 Ensign that "...because of our mothers love, we learn, more accurately remember, that God also loves us". I truly know that my Mom is one of my greatest blessings here on earth.
I am posting a page that I did this evening. Since I was in such a festive mood I got r

Oh, yeah. One last fun thing for today. I posted my first layout today on Sweet Shoppe Designs Gallery. (Thanks for the much needed computer help Anna!) I entered my page in one of their "challenges". This particular challenge was a to scrap a "fear" of yours and post to the forum. That is what I did. You can look at my post here! It is also off to the side.
Thanks for reading!
