Friday I went to work for a couple of hours and ran a TON of errands. When David got home we ran some more errands and then worked, worked and worked on the house. It was tiring, but more than worth it. The main living areas: kitchen, living room and dining room, are DONE! We are so happy. The tile is laid, painting is done and the only thing we need to do is pick up is the jute rug for under the dining room table. I think that the only thing that we might do if we decided to stay in this house is to put up crown molding on the first floor.
Saturday David and I ran some more errands, went shopping and did some touch up work on the house. P.S. we will NOT buy another house with a 25 foot entry wall... the painting/wallpapering is a NIGHTMARE!
Sunday, literally by the grace of God, we made it to church. I did not say that we make it on time, but it is the being there that counts. We did leave after sacrament to get ready for our Bar-B-Que. That afternoon we had a get together with our couples friends from church. There were 12 people here! We had a BLAST! It was really and awesome way to kick off the summer season.
Today I went a took some pictures at a local cemetery that lines its grounds in American Flags for Memorial Day. It was nice to pay tribute to our country and the men and women that fight for us. My Dad and Grandfather are both veterans and it just helps make the day more special. This holiday is more than simply a day off of work. Here is one of the pages that I made with one of my photos:

Our family Bar-B-Que this afternoon was really nice too. The new addition was a blast. I can tell that I am his favorite already. Who can resist and Aunt as wonderful as me? I just hope that I can be as great of a support to him that My Nenee has been to me! With out further delay Braxton Lee:

These two pages will be a two page spread in my scrapbook.
Happy Tuesday tomorrow. For all of you 5 day a week workers that are only 4 days to bare. I will put up some before and after photos of our house. David and I just cracked up when we looked back last week at what the decor here once was... country... yikes. I will leave you with that.
