What Can I Say?

Now, let me start this story with a warning.  You are going to laugh so hard you might pee your pants (or skirts).  You are going to think that I am the strangest person for taking a picture of this... and sharing it.  Lastly, you are going to wonder what kind of people do this...

... to their mailbox?  BABY DOLL ARMS!  What?  We saw this as some one's actual mailbox while Mom, our friend and I were in Jamesport, MO.  What is going on here?  What actually gives you the idea... (light switching on in head) "Ahhh, I think that I am going to decorate our mailbox with baby doll arms today" ?  I can tell you and we laughed so hard I though I was going to hyperventilate.  After I regained my composure and wiped the tears from my eyes we proceeded to drive by this "thing" three times.  Yes, three times.  Finally on the third time I had to get out my camera and take a picture.  

When, I stopped their dog started barking.  As the lady was screaming "William" at the dog she came outside to see me with my camera.  I waved and said that I wanted a picture of her mailbox.  She then said, "Sure.  Isn't it great?"  Not quite what I was thinking.  Well, I am not sure what I was thinking.  I responded, "Well, it is unique." and ran before she saw me start to loose my cool in laughter again... now for the fourth time.

I hope that you enjoyed the laugh.  I have to take David to Jamesport now just to see the "Baby Doll Arms".

Tonight we went to our friend, Jon's, re-opening of his restaurant, Taste.  Taste was formally "Tonic" and is where David and I held our Overland Park Reception.  Jon (who my sister Kyle says she is going to marry) is an awesome chef.  When he was hired as a personal chef for a worldwide celebrity on their yacht he closed Tonic while he was gone.  Taste is in the same building as his last restaurant, but with a different menu.  Mmmmmmm, tasty (no pun intended)!  Try it when you have a chance.  Here is a link to his new site.  He said that it is not done yet, but will be soon!
