Chex Mix is BAD!

I don't have a good excuse for being delinquent in my blogging.  My mind has just been preoccupied this past week. I know.  A whole week.  I did appreciate the emails encouraging me to get back on track with the posting.  I do believe I am quoting Elias correctly when I say my lack of blogging was unacceptable.

This past week I have been busy.  I have been craza-ly working on the set-up on my new blog.  I needed to finally decide on a domain name, set up a new email address, buy a new blogging template and decide if I was going to have just a blog or a blogsite (blog and website combined).  Since I couldn't decide which I wanted David and I bought a domain name for my blog and my website.  I am too wishy-washy these days to not have bought both.  I have found this past few weeks that what I decide today may not be what I still want tomorrow.

Saturday I went to Wichita.  My friend, Misty, was kind enough to let me tag along with her and her partner Susan to get some wedding practice.  That made for a loooong day to say the least.  Thanks for my Mom helping us with the pups it made our trip totally possible. 

So, to recap the past week that I have been M.I.A.:

-David and I took another day trip that should have been a go one day and sleepover until the next day kind of trip.

-I caught up with Anna over email and the phone.

-David has a new Wii Fit.

-I felt the need to eat a whole bag of Chocolate Covered Chex Mix... alone.  That I regretted.

-I am struggling with what church ward David and I should be attending.  We know where we should go, but that doesn't mean that I will go easily.  

-Caught up with Liz over dinner.

-I have a new camera.  He is taking the place of the previous "Heavy D". Go 5d!

-My brain has been a mess with trying to compile lists of gear that I need... and trying to believe David when he tells me that it is okay I am spending ALL of our spending money on camera equipment.

-I have been booking sessions. (Sorry I am saving my favorite shots for the blog/site).

-I have discovered the blessed Internet Land of Craig's List. (You know I never liked the name Craig until now.)

-Planning a NEW trip for us to take Mr. B to the pumpkin patch this weekend since last Friday there was RAIN MANIA.  

-I found some new session locations!  Let me say that they ROCK!  No, I cannot tell you.  Sorry!

-I made arrangements to have a shoot to get some shots of me for my new site.

-David and I have been trying to get our 2009 calender in order.  We need to go to California for a short bit when Dane returns home from his mission and see Anna and Ben (of course Disneyland, too).  That is in May, but we are still waiting on dates.  There are a few workshops that we are trying to swing.  This one is for sure one I will be attending.  It is also in May.  I have to go to Chicago to see my gays!  I am dying for some R&R on a beach... not a California beach (no offense), but a real beach with warm water and white sand (Elias get on that please).

-I was also asked to sing for Visiting Teaching Conference in my parent's ward in November.  I have not sang in Church since Easter.  I am also trying to make arrangements to sing in one of our ward's Christmas programs.  I missed out last year because I had a bad case of larengitus the month of December into January. 

See... if you couldn't tell I was not joking when I said that I was scatter brained this past week.

E I wanted to tell you I tried to change the font back for you, but I cannot remember which part of the HTML I need to change.  Deal with it until I move to the new one. ;)

Since I cannot post without a picture... again... this is a shot that I took in Wichita.  At first I didn't like it, but through the editing process it has really grown on me.  Edited with Totally Rad Actions.
