Getto Computer

For some reason I felt the need to type this post on my ghetto imac instead of my nice, new, pristine imac.  Big flippin' mistake.  My post was funny, touching and insightful (that might be a stretch), but it is GONE!  Who knows where, but gone nonetheless.  I am NOT a happy camper right now!  It was done. D-O-N-E and ready to publish.  Since this past week has been a he!! of a week I am going to let it go (deep breath) and move on...

One of the things that I mentioned in my perfectly great, DONE and ready to publish post was the fact that I have been the worst slacker on my scrapbooking.  I think that it has been months since I did a layout. Sad I know.  I miss it and need to get back in a rhythm.  I thought that I wanted my computer in my office, but now that it is I am alone I am finding it hard to sit in here for hours on end by myself and work on stuff.  I find myself editing instead of scrapping these days.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of talking to David's Aunt Diane about digi-scrapping.  She was wanting to get into it and move away from paper scrapping.  I was SO happy to help and glad that she thought to contact me for some advice on where to start.  So, Diane how is it going?

Anyway, here are some of my favorites I did this summer that I never posted:

I also have my eye on a few kits.  I think that I might go ahead a buy some of these this week.  For the fall I am loving Plumberry Harvest (papers and elements) at Peppermint Creative and Sweet November by Dani Mogstad.  As for holiday kits I am for sure going to pick up the new Britt-ish Designs Kit called Very Merry and I am debating between Shabby Miss Jenn's Snowy Day and Deer Santa.

Oh yes, I did see Twilight.  I was not to terribly impressed, but I was in ahhhhhhh anyway.  In my head I pictured Edward hotter and a way better dresser.  Jacob I pictured to be MUCH hotter and Bella... well... she was just not who I would have chosen.  Lame I know.  I am totally getting the soundtrack though.  Love it!

i made it to twilight...couldn't wait until monday. the cheese factor was a bit much at times...we got a kick out of the harpy bell sound effects when they showed his skin, among other things. it was still super fun!

So I've decided that I need some more pepperming bark. I can't stop thinking about it. Yummy. Oh and Nick and I were wondering if we could order some prints. Or I guess when would be the last possible day we could order and get them before I leave to Utah?

Well, I have asked my Santa for a hard drive and he seems to be watching for incredible deals. (I believe he has found one.) So I must wait for Xmas before I really get into the digi-scrapping. I am so anxious. I have little desire to use paper and tape anymore!
Sorry to hear about your pup. Our neighbor had a similar situation and they also had to put their dog down. Hope you and David have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We all send our love.
