Yes, Our Thanksgiving Ham deserves capitals. This ham is glorious. It looks so delicious (still in it's gold packaging). I am getting weak at the knees, and I am sitting, just thinking about eating it. I am not a big fan of pork in general. I might eat a piece of bacon at my parents house for brunch or the occasional slice of pepperoni pizza, but that is it. However, this Ham is making me crazy. Every time I open the fridge I hear it. Asking me to eat it. Sick I know, but oh so true. Thankfully for this Ham my stress spot is much to painful for me to pick up anything heavy.
So, beside the Ham David and I are in charge of a lot this Thanksgiving. Normally I would find a way to pawn half of this off on my sister, Kyle, or bribe my brother, Sean, to help me, but this year I am thankful for the distractions. Bring it on! Tonight I made the potato cheese mixture of sour creamy goodness and jello salad (Please! What is a Mormon get together without jello salad?). Tomorrow I am going to make the cinnamon apples, guacamole (strange I know, but it is to munch on before dinner), deli roll ups and some other stuff I can't remember right now.
I have to say that I am SO excited for this holiday. This will be our puppies first Thanksgiving. In light of our current Baron situation we have decided to take all of our dogs with us to Mom and Dad's. Mr. B will celebrate his first Thanksgiving holiday too. Not to mention he will get to wear the cute outfit David and I bought him months ago for the occasion. This family time is going to be great.
In closing (I sound like I am writing a thesis), I just want to thank all of David and my family and friends who have left us comments and sent us emails concerning Baron. You really don't know how much it means to us. Baron is feeling good today. His rash is still looking really bad. Now that reality has set it in I am still really upset. When, I think about losing him my eyes start to well up. I noticed tonight when I was petting him that all of the hair on his chest and under belly is gone. This was eye opening for me seeing as he had the prettiest and softest hair there. I am sorry if I am sounding like a crazy dog person, but these fur monsters are our kiddos. While they make us crazy sometimes thinking about life without one of them is unbearable. Please remember to keep our Big Sweetie in your prayers.
FYI: Allyson I finally received the email. The pictures look like you two could do some great things there!

i'm sorry about your little pup. i remember when our sweet dog fly was hit by a car right in front of my husband. i was so frantic. we rushed her to the emergency vets and she survived, but it was a horrible feeling. you give so much love to these animals--it's easy to get really attached. i hope he gets better soon!
happy thanksgiving!!!
Thanks :0) Is that code for "it's a bunch o' crap?" Just kidding! We would like to do a lot, just a little bit at a time. Happy early Thanksgiving! I'm glad Baron is better today!
Erin I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. I hope that Baron gets better, it is no fun when anyone is sick ecspecially someone you love. I hope the ham survives the night!!
Hey Erin,
I'm David's cousin, back in Utah..My mom was the one who emailed you about the digital scrapbooking. Well my dog has lost all his hair on his neck, chest and tummy also. He scratches himself so often that he continually has deep sores on his neck. We've taken him to the vet also and have spent tons on the little guy. He also has a staf infection. I feel your pain.. I don't know what to do now... It looks like he is going to start losing hair on his back... I'm noticing little patches that are getting bigger. I've run out of things to do for him.. He doesn't keep any food down when I give him his medicine either. I feel bad for you guys. I know how bad it is. I'm sorry you have to go through that!! Hopefully everything goes ok for you guys. Good luck with everything.
