Bless you United Parcel Service, Bless You

I wonder if the UPS delivery people (I have to be politically correct here) knows how they bless people's lives everyday. Not just during the holiday season, but all year round. Oh, the packages, the wonderful packages! When Nordstrom and UPS work together beautiful things can happen...

NEW SHOES

These beauties came this evening. I ordered them on Saturday to wear tomorrow night to a black tie dinner. My Mom is a member of The Kansas City Implant Society (that would be dental implants... the kind that go in your mouth), exciting I know, and their annual Holiday Dinner is tomorrow. I love to dress up and I am SO excited to be her date! I just hope that it doesn't get rescheduled due to the ice storm that is supposed to be coming our way tomorrow. The dinner is at The Carriage Club (a sweet country club) off the Country Club Plaza. I love The Carriage Club! Oh, yes the sparkles under the shoes are part of my dress... I love sparkles.

Since I forgot a blessing in my last post I will give you two blessings:

UPS because not only do they work in conjunction with Nordie to bring me shoes, but jeans too. How can that not be a blessing? David... don't answer that!

This week I have been reminded of how blessed I am to have a car. A car that gets me really warm. Seeing as the temperatures have been below freezing all week... and an ice storm is supposed to hit I am so blessed to have a car that I can depend on to get me where I need to go safely and deliver me warm and toasty.

It's so beautiful! I HAVE to see at least one picture of the dress on you. I'm positive you will look stunning.

Hey, if you haven't looked at my blog in a while you might want to. Drama doesn't stray far from me :0( Luckily this drama doesn't involve other people.
