One of My BEST Blessings

I have a lot to say today. These past two weeks have been quite a challenge to say the least in a multitude of ways. I, however, and going to wait until I am bit calmer to share my thoughts. Dun, dunnnn, dunnnnn (scary music fading out).

My Dad called me Tuesday and asked me if I could whip up some holiday cards that he could send to his clients. I, of course, said yes and asked the usual. What color? What do you want the message to say? All of that jazz. This being my Dad I am talking to I quickly rememberd what his answers would be... blue and I don't know to everything else. So, here is what I came up with. It is simple and masculine, I think...

DAD BUSINESS HOLIDAY CARD

DAD HOLIDAY BUSINESS CARD 2

we will see how he likes it. The card are 4x5.5 inches and will be printed on pearl cardstock.

As I am sure you can guess my blessing today with the mention of my Dad... it is FAMILY. I love my family. My Dad's funny stories from his childhood... we have all heard a million times and still love. My Mom's endearing smile and millions of questions that just crack us up. My sister's up for anything attitude and my Brother's contagious belly laugh. More that that though, I love them because they love David and I unconditionally. Their love is not based on distance or opinions. There love is based on the ties of our family. Don't get me wrong everyone has they moments and disagreements, but in the end we all know that if and when we need something we don't need to hesitate before we call each other. I know that the Lord knew my needs when he chose these parents for me. I know that the Lord knew David when he chose him for me because to my family he is not an in-law, but loved just the same. This time of year it is easy to remember our blessings, but I can honestly say I am thankful for my family everyday of the year.

Hip, Hip, Horray... Thursday is my Friday! I cannot wait to jump in bed tonight and know that I can sleep all day Friday if my heart so desires it!
