Tag You're It

Okay, I was tagged.  I usually don't do a lot of these, but I thought that this might be fun to look back on.  If you make it to the bottom you will see if you were tagged next!

1.  What did you do in 2008 that you had never done before?
Went to Disneyland in California and learned to us a digital SLR camera!

2.  Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Um... NO.  I don't make New Year's resolutions.  I simply make goals, but that is all year round not just for The New Year.  New Year's resolutions are for people who can only commit to a month!

3.  Did any one close to you give birth?
Yes!!! My sister had a baby boy, Braxton, who is lovingly referred to as Mr. B on this blog.

4.  Did anyone close to you die?
Not that I know of.

5.  What countries or states did you visit in 2008?
Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Oklahoma, Arizona and California... exciting I know.  I am hoping for a holiday out of the country this year though!  I am keeping my finger, toes, arm, legs and eyes crossed!

6.  What would you like to have in 2009 you lacked in 2008?
I would like to have more patience.  However, I am not very optimistic.  What?  I am just realistic.  Patience, sadly, was not a virture I was blessed with.

7.  What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Starting my photography business!

8.  What was your biggest failure?
Not saving more money.  Bad Nordstrom!

9.  Did you suffer and illness or injury?
Nope, but I did fall on a shoot in November.  My ankle is still swollen.  I think I should do something about that.  Yes, I did try ice.

10.  What is the best thing you bought?
CAMERA GEAR and my 5D.  Yes, and the puppies.

11.  Who's behavior merited celebration?
My husband and my Mom!  It was a tough and busy year.  SO many things happened (good and bad) in 2008 and they took it all in stride!  They are calm, cool and collective... and good looking... don't forget good looking!

12.  Who's behavior merited celebration?
My sister.  She has really made an effort and susceeded in changing her life for the better this year.  For our family, but more for her I am filled with nothing but joy.

13.  Who's behavior mad you appalled or depressed?

14.  Where did most of your money go?
Our blessed mortgage (can you hear the sarcasm), camera equiptment and photography workshops (thank you David).

I wished that I had walked the dogs more.  Lame I know.

GOSSIP GIRL, yo!!!

21.  What was the best book(s) you read?
The Twilight Series (Books 1 and 3)

Across the Universe, The Bucket List and Twilight.

24. What (who) kept you sane?
David

BARACK OBAMA

26.  Who did you miss?
Elias, Anna and my friends that live overseas

27.  Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008?
I learned and really accepted the fact that I can only control my actions.  While I don't agree with others views and choices they are not mine.  If people want to make a$$es of themselves there is nothing I can do to stop it!

I am going to mix up the people I tag this time:  Anna, Stacy and Robyn and Anthony... tag you're it!

I like this tag. Fun to look back on the pst year. Just a suggestion. If your looking to visit another country this year, try Canada. I know where you can find free room and board.
