P-E-R-F-E-C-T

Friday as you all know I had the day off.  I did not do anything all day.  As usual David and I stayed up WAY to late... can you say 2 a.m.?  The wonderful thing about it was that I didn't care because I didn't have to go to work later that morning.  To bad David could not say the same.  I don't even remember him leaving.  Although, I do remember him calling me... at 9:32 a.m. and 11:23 a.m.  I think that he was just jealous.  Thanks to my super sleeping skills I was able to go right back to sleep once he was sent to voice mail.  Sorry David!  Needless to say I did not make it to meet him for lunch that afternoon.  After all of my super sleeping I migrated to the kitchen for the yummy McLain's my Mom had bought us the afternoon before and then off to the couch.  That is where I am not proud to say I stayed until 3:30 p.m.  I  know... sad.

We met my Mom at 5:30 p.m. for the trek downtown, via Raytown to pick up Nenee.  Of course we ate at our usual spot, Red Dragon, before we headed to the show, Wicked.

I wish that I could say that this show lived up to its hype, however, the truth is that I didn't think that it was any better that my all time favorite, RENT!  Yes, Wicked was a bit more on the wholesome side, but still, for someone who has seen what
seems  like a million musicals it was typical.  The plot, music and everything was at best mediocre.  I am just glad that it was included in our season because if I had paid the $250 a seat like the people around us paid (Who do not have season tickets.  They bought theirs from
scalpers) I would have been ticked.  Maybe it would be better with a different cast, but I don't know.  The only way I would see it again would be on Broadway.  Okay... I know... such a Negative Nelly.

I am sure all of you have seen the photos to the left.  These are some of the pictures from the maternity shoot that I did with Kyle this afternoon.  I am quite pleased.  Since it was cloudy and overcast the lighting in the house was perfect for a shoot. It couldn't have been better timing either.  Out of the 166 photos that I took I loved about 36 and narrowed it down to 21 that I put in my Lightroom and went to town on the lighting and all that.  I took those 21 and had them printed out in 5 x 7 prints for her for Mother's Day.  My favorite one I framed for her already.  Below is the picture that I LOVED.  I also made some business cards with it too that she can give to her friends... I know... she will help me with my shameless plugs.  I just think that she looks beautiful.
