Lithuania is also apparently home to some account hackers as well. Lucky us! My Dad received a call from PayPal yesterday morning and the rep was asking my Dad questions about me and my account with them. (I had not changed my phone number on my account since I had lived with my Parents). My Dad told them that he was not going to answer any of their questions and would not give them my cell phone number, but he would pass the message along to me. I called them and also checked my account online. Someone had hacked into the system... picked me and bought crap on my account. They wanted to verify that I did not buy a computer among other things and change my shipping address to the country of Lithuania. I assured them that it was not me and to not accept the charges. I then had to call David and my bank and close all of our bank accounts. NOT FUN! We now have no valid checks or debit cards (the new ones are on order). I now have to go through all of our online billing accounts and change the account numbers and order new checks. Like I said... LUCKY US!
So, FYI to all of you! Watch out! This is not fun! David and I would not want this to happen to you! We now have another checking account for online purchases only. This account will be the ONLY one that we use for online purchases. David and I are going to only transfer enough money to cover any charges that we should make online. You might think about doing the same. If this would ever happen to you (or us) again you will not have to change EVERYTHING!
As you can tell yesterday was a pretty crappy day. Along with this mess there was a lot of stuff going on... too much stuff for one day. I can tell you that. However, on a good note while I was at the bank I stopped at our jeweler (my Dad and my jeweler are in the same building as my bank). When you see the jeweler you have to know that your day will get bigger and more glittery. Amen to that!
Today it is raining... and raining some more. It would have been the perfect day to say in bed and snuggle in if I didn't have to work. Rainy days at the office are always weird. I am not sure what it is, but patients get nutty. Tonight David and I have to set up Baron and Daisy's kennel and tidy up the house. David and I have not decided whether or not we are going to get the pups Thursday night or Friday. Either way it sucks for David because he has class on Thursday night and works on Friday. I am excited for puppies!!!
Enjoy your day today everyone! Forgive any typos/grammer errors. This was done in a typing frenzy this morning at work because our Internet at home is bunk!
***Update: 10:30 a.m.: Thank goodness we closed that account. I talked to the head teller at the bank today and she said that more charges tried to go through there this morning from the same place! Please be careful everyone!***

I can't believe that. People are so lame. At least they caught it though. What a hassle. Oh and I love the name Daisy for your puppy. I hope you have a better day.
Okay, that was horrible news but you get snaps for delivery. Very clever writing. I'm thinking, wow, a geography lesson? How cool, I wonder what prompted this... Oh. THAT sucks!
I like "Daisy" too. It's adorable. You'll have to get a big daisy hat for her and take some cute puppy pics :)
Oh, Erin, I am so sorry that this had to happen. It is my biggest fear that something like that would happen to us. I hope that everything gets worked out.
