Who said that I have any self restraint?

I gave in to the hype.  Don't be disappointed.  I had heard so much about them and was desperate for something good to read.  So, today I gave in and bought Twilight.  I just finished the first chapter.  Not bad.  *Do NOT email me about saying that.  I am only on Chapter 2.  I can't say that it is great until at least Chapter 8.*  This book has also already been made into a movie that will be released this November.  You can see the trailer here.

Work today was stressful.   It is Monday, and I did not expect anything less.  The schedule was more than packed and there was enough to do that I could have been there till 6 p.m.  David met me at the office and we went to our attorney's office to sign some more papers so that we could actually leave with our" Chipotle Check".  Holllllla.  I can't say that getting hit crazy hard with an umbrella was worth it, but this sure helps ease the pain.  As a result we are buying me a Canon 40d body and my Canon Xti body is for sale.  After leaving the attorneys office, and battling the five o clock traffic on I-435 neither of us wanted to go home and cook so we stopped at Red Robin... wild I know, but David's favorite nonetheless.  Now, we are home watching dogs and laying low.

I am not posting any layouts tonight.  I am posting this on our laptop (boy David, I would love an upgrade) and I am to lazy to get off the couch and connect it to my external hard drive that is hooked up to my desktop to upload something.  I am excited to share more of the ones that I did this weekend.  As I am sure some of you could have guessed I am a subscriber to Digital Scrapbooking Magazine.  If you like to digiscrap and you don't get it sign up now.  It is great.  You can buy it at the bookstore for $6.99 or get a subscription (6 issues) for the year for around $14.99.  Totally worth it.  The information and fun layouts are worth the dollas (that was for all you Killer Bunnies Fans out there).  Anyway, the people who are in charge of subscriptions didn't send me the last issue, but double sent me this one.  I am not sure that I will ever get the last one, but anyone who wants this one can have it.  For those of you who I see at Church who want it let me know.  I will bring it Sunday.

Here is the low down on the camera body, Canon Xti.  It is the BODY ONLY (the original box and all accessories are included).  I am keeping my lenses, however, I can suggest some good ones to start with.  It has been a great camera for me.  I have just grown out of it.  David bought it for me in March of this year from Circuit City.  It is in perfect condition appearance and mechanically.  I have the silver body style.  I love this camera I just need to upgrade.  It is a great body for more experienced shooters and beginners alike.  Like I said before, you can email me or call if you are interested.  If you know someone who is, pass along the information for me would ya?

Now that September is quickly approaching I am a little confused on where our summer went.  It seems like it just started.  You know that you are not 15 years old any more when your years feel like hours and you days feel like minutes.  Since September is almost here it is time for David and I to gear up to go to Arizona.  We are going there so that I can participate in a Photography Workshop with some of my favorite photographers.  It is just a bonus that David's sister Robyn and her husband Anthony live there too.  However, I am having a problem.  David and I have a shoot while we are there for some "family" pictures and I don't know what I am going to wear.  This is the photographer that is shooting us.  I cannot decide between jeans and a cute top, or a dress.  A dress and heels is more me, but I am torn.  Suggestions?  We know that David is going to wear a pair of "gay" jeans, as Pete likes to call them, but the shirt will be determined after my wardrobe is finalized.  Wish me luck on my hunt... Nordstrom here I come.
