The rundown:
Friday afternoon I did the usual work for a few hours and ran around with my Mom. After David clocked out of the corporate world Mr. B and I met him at our favorite hangout, Nordstrom. There I found something to wear for our pictures. You can always count on them. Now, I just have to decide what heels to wear... black or red... decisions, decisions. Looked for David, but didn't find anything that we liked. After the mall I took Mr. B back home and David headed home to let the dogs out. After dropping off Mr. B (By the way his new favorite place to be is Nordstrom. I train them young.) I locked my keys in my trunk with the yummy dinner my Mom made us and our bakery goodness. Then, David had to come and let me into my car so that I could drive home and we could eat our yummy dinner and bakery goodness. I am not sure that I am grateful to have door that lock automatically when they are unlocked for more than 30 seconds.
Saturday we made and run to hunt down a shirt for David to wear for our picture. Success in the first store and the first shirt he tried on! That's my guy! Thank you Marshall's and thank you to Gloria who gave us the gift card to Home Goods last Christmas. Yes, they are owned by the same company so you can us the GCs at either store. Saturday afternoon... well... I can't remember what we did come to think of it.
Sunday was our family outing at Kill Creek Park. Please don't let the name scare you. It was the most beautiful day. We could not have asked for better. Everyone was out in full force for this event. Even all of the dogs came. They were so much fun to watch run around after each other all day. Everyone played, went on the swings and playground and just chilled out. It was nice for me because I had lots of time to practice with my new camera... AWESOME it is... let me tell you. We arrived home late from the park and we were pooped. As soon as we got home all three of the dogs went to sleep and did not get up until it was time to go out and then go to bed.
Today I made sure that I practiced my Super Sleeping Skills. I had no idea that it was even so late when I finally rolled out into the living room. I will not say what time it was. You would be either jealous or disgusted. I will keep that information to myself. David and I ate lunch at Culver's. After all of that sleeping I could not be bothered with making anything for lunch. We ran to Wal-mart for a few things after lunch. Tonight we just stayed home for some much needed down time with the dogs. We were gone a lot last week in the evenings and David, the dogs and myself needed sometime to be vegetables. Of course I scrapped. Here are the pages that I finished with some of the picture I took at the picnic. The photos of David and I are few and far between because no one knows how to use Heavy D (my camera). I worked with what we had.
This first one is a double pager that I did with some of the 300 photos I took at the park. I purchased this kit about 3 months ago and had not had the chance to use it yet. It was just perfect for this:

Here is Mr. B in all of this double chinned goodness:
Kyle and Sean had a blast on the swings and I caught it all. I am quite the action photographer as you can see...

Total scraplift with another kit I had not had a chance to use. I tried to post the link, but apparently I purchased to so long ago it is not longer available.
I am the BIGGEST fan of this page. I am not sure that it surpasses my "California Kisses" page that I posted last Sunday, but it is a favorite.
That was our holiday weekend. Fun and warm with lots of pictures and love to remember the holiday. I hope that everyone had as great of a weekend as we did! Enjoy your first day back in the real world....
