It was a superb day! Yes, I do mean superb day! My David had a good day at work and he loved his "A Day for David"! He was SO surprised. I am SO glad. I love doing things for him (when he will let me). I knew that he would not let me do all of this for him if he would have known about my plan ahead of time.
I had really been thinking about him and what he does for me and our "furry family". David is a trooper. David is a go with the flow kind of man. He loves me so much it makes my heart full enough to burst. (Yes, I am starting to tear up. God love PMSing.) My husband is a sweet man with a great spirit, heart and soul. My husband is a wonderful priesthood holder and the glue that keeps me sane. David loves his family and mine. David is level headed and gives me time to "come around". My Man loves my friends as much as he loves his. His "date" with Liz was a blast last year. The best thing of all is that David is David all the time... and he brings his cute "buns" home to me every evening... even though I rarely cook him dinner.
Yesterday this is what I did. In the morning he had a framed picture of us to put on his desk sitting on his dashboard. David had been talking about how he didn't have any fun stuff on his desk and wanted pictures to put out. There was also a card, handmade of course, with the frame. After lunch he had this delivered to him from the pups and me. It was quite a hit I must say. When My Mister got home the dogs were outside (Playing in the pouring rain. Their new favorite thing) and had already been fed. For dinner we had David's favorite pizza, Minsky's and I gave him his new Wii game I had picked up. He was as happy as a bug in a rug.
I am a little tired today. We went to bed a little late and I was up a little to early. I need to get back to work. I won't be checking in tomorrow because I am off to Chicago tonight! On a whim that I found some good tickets yesterday. This weekend was the only weekend until Thanksgiving that worked for David and my schedule for me to leave and my friends' schedule in Chicago. David assured me that he and the dogs would be fine. I am off...
