Babies, Babies

I think that there is something in the water on the West side of the United States.  I think that someone has planted a mysterious something in it.  I cannot tell you what, but it is strong.  I can tell you one thing though.  I am glad that I had bottled water when I was there!

In the past two weeks I have had TWO friends/family members tell David and I they are pregnant.  For real people. No, really David and I are so happy for Fresno Anna (and her hubby Ben) and Robyn (David's Sister) and her husband Anthony.  They are both expecting and due in MAY!  Both of these couples are near and dear to David and my hearts and we can't express how happy we are for them (Better them that us, huh? hehehe).

I am a little jealous though.  I have to admit. Like I told Anna I have always wanted to have a baby in the month of May. I don't know why.  May is just a great month.  In the Midwest it is not to cold or too hot.  Spring is fading and Summer is on its way. People are just getting over their Seasonal Affective Disorder (thank you Stacy).

I am selfish because I know that this means that baby blanket knitting is on the horizon!  I love to knit almost as much as I love photography and digital scrapbooking.  I am also a bit selfish because Robyn and Anthony expecting takes the pressure off the rest of us.  Now, no one in the Jensens has wonder who will have baby #1.  I will also not have be asked ever again if #1 will be from David and I.  (Thanks Robyn and Anthony!) Okay, I am rambling.  I all I am trying to say is CONGRATS!  David and I are excited to meet your little ones!

Speaking of babies.  Here is a sweet picture (SOC-Straight Out of the Camera) of David and my little babies.  The two of them are approaching 6 months old and as we found out today... need to work on their Sit... and more importantly STAY skills.  Aren't they just adorable?  Not to mention soft; they had baths today.  Long gone as are the days of bathing them in the kitchen sink.

That is pretty much the extent of what is going on here.  David and I had a fun dinner with friends on Friday evening.  On Saturday we went with My Nenee, Mom and Mr. B to the pumpkin patch and the Louisburg Cider Mill.  This weekend we also planned out what is going to be our newly decorated guestroom and cleaned.  Cleaned, Cleaned and CLEANED... did I mention that we CLEANED.  I am tired!

Have a great Monday tomorrow everyone!  Elias call me back Mister!

Congratulations Anna and Robyn.

So guess who else is having a baby in May... Ken and Sydney Jensen. Isn't that crazy? I can't imagine having a child right now. They're super happy and excited about it.
